“all things are of God”
II Corinthians 5:18
Someone had told me once, “You should be more of a discriminator in your giving.” Meaning there is a time or limit to giving. You know in Judaism there is a financial limit of giving up to 20% of your liquid assets. Not tithing which is 10% to synagogue, but philanthropy, to the poor or charities. It is considered to be sin to give more than 20% at anyone time. What did Jesus do?
II Corinthians 5:14-15 For the love of Christ constrained us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
He gave everything for us should we not be ready to give all for Him?
Some people in our physical eye not responding or worthy of our help, so should we stop helping because they are taking advantage?
II Corinthians 5:18-19 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Are you a good Jew? Giving 10% to the church, 20% to the poor and needy?
Are their some more deserving than others? Or have all sinned and come short of the kingdom of heaven?
Romans 12:8-21 Or he that exhorts, on exhortation: he that gives, let him do it with simplicity; he that rules, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.   9Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another;  11Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.  17Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men. 19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith Yahuweh. 20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Do you know this is the will of God? Live no more as you did, live as God shows you in these scriptures. “Shama Israel
Father give them eyes to see, hearts open to your Son’s desire for their lives. Divine influence upon their hearts, reflecting in their lives to the glory of Your Son’s sacrifice for us all, Halle lu YAH.
